Founder & CEO Prior to founding anna, Matt spent nearly a decade in healthcare analytics. Inspired to create anna in late 2017, Matt dropped out of Boston University's Questrom School of Business – writing the business's first patent and programming anna's first prototype software.
CFO & Corporate Development
Maris is an entrepreneurial corporate finance and development leader with 25 years' experience working with startups and lower middle market companies as an operator and investment banker to drive the transformation of business vision into operational reality by raising capital, developing and executing M&A strategies, and professionalizing accounting/finance operations.
Most recently, as VP Finance for Carbon Cycle Energy, Maris led a $150 million capital raise to finance the construction of a utility-scale anaerobic digestion facility that will convert organic farm and food waste into pipeline-grade biomethane.
Licensed by the Colorado MED and certified in cannabis sales and training by the Trichome Institute, Christian has held sales leadership roles in the cannabis, healthcare and food & beverage industries.
With a background in nutritional sciences, he led corporate wellness screenings & health education talks at such settings as engineering firms and collegiate campuses. Independent health insurance broker for accident, life and health coverage for the past three years and he worked in the non-profit space providing case management for Medicaid patients. Operational/ sales management in food & beverage includes, working in the tea industry for Teavana at three (3) high-dollar retail shopping malls in New Jersey, cold-kitchen supervision as Assistant Garde manger at Colorado State University Catering and ran an e-commerce dropshipping business for teaware.
Lastly, receiving formal education in the clinical application of herbs & botanicals, Christian has applied knowledge in formulating and selling functional teas. His experience from the “front-lines” of sales & operations management in these industries serve him perfectly in cannabis and his role at anna.
William comes from a liberal arts background, with a focus on environmental studies, international affairs and social entrepreneurship. Having earned the Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise MBA from Colorado State University, Will has a knack for business development and customer discovery activities.

With 15+ years experience building and scaling digital businesses, Dan brings executive-level expertise in marketing, content creation and brand development. A data-forward digital marketer and strategist, he has grown audiences and revenue for companies such as Time Inc, Competitor Group and Teton Gravity Research.
